John Pirillo is an artist whose major focus is on the digital aspect of illustration and artwork. He has been doing various kinds of artwork and animation since the early Eighties when John Lassiter was still coming into his own with Pixar.
Trained at Walt Disney's school, The California Institute of the Arts, John earned a degree in the Master of Fine Arts.. Disney's program in experimental animation gave him the latitude to both work with traditional art as well as abstract, both of which he loves greatly.
You will find here work that ranges from deep, rich and lustrously textured abstracts art that stretch from the infinite realms of fractal mathematics to more fine tuned artwork such as vivid, highly detailed landscapes.
You will also find fun illustrations that deal only with the fancies of children, such as cute characters from the stories he animates and writes to the more serious work for his adult and young adult themed stories that deal with the extreme visions of science and fantasy, as well as fantasy, romance and humor.
John would like everyone who visits to have a good time.
A blog is provided for the enjoyment of all and to give a chance to interact directly with the artist.
